Taco mince, no packet required!
Taco night just levelled up. A bold blend of lean beef, tomato paste and our smoky-sweet Mexicue rub delivers that perfect Tex-Mex punch—without the additives. Spoon it into crunchy shells, soft tortillas, burrito bowls, or pile it over nachos. However you serve it, it’s a winner.
Ingredients:
- 500g Lean Beef Mince
- 1 Brown Onion - finely chopped.
- 3 TBS Tomato Paste
- 3 TBS Mexicue
Method:

Brown the beef mince and onion together in a pan.
The fat from the mince will help soften the onion as it cooks. (If using lean beef, you shouldn't have to drain any fat.) - Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the tomato paste and Mexicue.
- Simmer until well combined and slightly thickened.

Serve in your favourite Mexican-inspired dish — tacos, burrito bowls, nachos, or wraps — and don’t forget a drizzle of our Mexamazing Sauce to take it to the next level.
Hot Tip
- This recipe works just as well with chicken mince for a lighter twist.
