From the Heart of Texas to the Land Down Under: our bbq story.

Our Roots

As a fourth generation Texan family, BBQ was always front and center on the kitchen table. Growing up, we enjoyed countless meals of brisket, ribs, chicken and, of course, all the ‘fixins’. We have embodied those memories and traditions into every aspect of The Feedlot. It’s that history, passion and love that transcends through to the products we share with you today.

How It All Began

Die hard foodies at heart, we are passionate about superior ingredients, exciting flavors and creative combinations. After moving to Australia, we were on the hunt for the perfect BBQ rub so we developed a simple, yet amazing, blend ourselves.  It was then that our original, and still best selling rub, Cattle Call was born.  After getting positive feedback from fellow BBQ'ers and encouragement from our friends and family, we took a bold step and launched The Feedlot brand. Today we’ve developed a wider range of products as well as a following of incredible customers who are just as passionate about the line up as we are.

We take great pride in our selection of herbs and spices from around the globe creating truly unique flavours that stand out from the crowd.  Every product we release is meticulously fine tuned by feedback from friends, family and the foodie community.  From our signature Porcini mushrooms to Mexican chilis, we promise our rubs and sauces will elevate your cooking game!

Nothing brings us more joy than being able to share our love for food and creative flavours to those around us.  Beginning with our family move to Australia to the concept idea of The Feedlot; we followed our passion and the journey has been nothing short of amazing.
